If you’re doing business on the web, you need to watch your log files. This is something that a lot of people overlook. It’s also something a lot of people already know, but still don’t do. But you need to at least occassionally take a look at some software that will analyze your logs in detail. Here’s why:

Just a quick drive by post today with some ideas on some easy authority link building.

I continually use Google to find places that might link to me. Let’s say you want some easy linking from .edu’s or similiar. Not hard - just use Google.

A while ago Google started offering ’searches related to’ at the bottom of some searches. You may have noticed it, you may not. In any case I think it’s a safe assumption when Google gives us a list of searches, those searches are probably good ones. And by ‘good ones’, I mean ones you should target.

First, let me back up and say I will address the previous post in a bit. It’s fairly involved, so it’s going to take some time to do right. In the meantime I wanted to write a quick summary type post that illustrates an easy way to get some money from this web thing.

Posting’s been a bit slim lately, so I’m going to offer to throw some link building ideas out there.

Here’s what we’ll do. Post the type of business that you’re in. I’ll pick one and throw up a post with some ideas on how to get some links to your site. Kind of like post #7 in this thread:
